Julia Wildfong

Julia Wildfong has taught Immersion French and Spanish for over 20 years at the elementary, high school, and college levels, and uses music, literature, films, and games to provide an immersive project-based learning experience for her students. While teaching under a fellowship at Boston College, she received the Donald J. White Teaching Excellence Award.

Outside of Mass Academy, Julia Wildfong has presented at both the state and national conferences about project-based learning, film making, technology integration, and immersion strategies. In addition, Julia’s YouTube channel helps teachers and students across the globe learn educational tools such as Audacity and Adobe Premiere Pro film editing.

In addition to teaching Immersion French and Spanish, she oversees several student electives, including French Language Cinema, circuit training, and the LGBTQ club.
