Throughout nursing school, I knew I enjoyed working with the pediatric population, specifically adolescents. I began my career working inpatient at Sub-Acute facility, moving on to an inpatient nurse Beth Israel hospital in Boston. After 3 years working various shifts, I transitioned to an outpatient role as a staff nurse at Mass General Allergy working primarily with pediatric patients doing food/environmental allergy testing and asthma education. This was the gateway job into my school nurse career. I have spent the past five years as the primary school nurse at Grafton High School working with a variety of different students and managing their health conditions. I am a DESE certified School Nurse. Starting here at Mass Academy I hope to be a resource for both students and staff educating and managing chronic conditions and acute illnesses. “Students must be healthy to be educated and educated to be healthy.”
I graduated from Keene State College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending summers vacationing in Ogunquit, Maine, going to the beach no matter the season, going on walks with my family and golden retriever, Olive, reading, trying new foods, and doing yoga.
