MAMS TRIVIA NIGHT- FUN WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS: TRIVIA, RAFFLES AND FOOD
The Mass Academy Parent Support Group (PSG) is sponsoring a TRIVIA NIGHT on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 between 6:00 pm and 9:30 pm. The event will be held at Mass Academy, 85 Prescott Street and will include trivia, raffles and a potluck dinner. We will have a social period from 6:00 to 6:30 pm when you can mingle with other parents and peruse the number of gift baskets that you can purchase raffle tickets for.
The trivia competition will be hosted by Jessica Bowen from AMSA, with team prizes for individual round winners and a grand cash prize for the overall winning team. There will be a total of four rounds (five if time permits). Each team will have five (5) members. You can form your own team or join a team on the event day.
Mark your calendars and help make the event successful by your participation and reaching out to your friends and family to join for an evening of competitive fun. Do forward this invite to your family and friends who might be interested in attending the event.
Please purchase tickets through Ms. Audrey Reardon (firstname.lastname@example.org) no later than March 16 and indicate how many of you will attend the event. After March 16, the event will be opened up to the general public. We hope to sell out to family and friends of Mass Academy (only 120 tickets will be sold, so purchase EARLY!!!)
Tickets to the events have to be purchased in advance (no tickets will be sold at the door). The cost for the event is $10 per student and $15 per adult. You may create a team of 5 or come by yourself and join a team when you arrive.
The deadline to purchase tickets is March 16. You can send in the payment with your student or mail it to: Mass Academy Trivia Evening, Attn: Ms. Audrey Reardon, Mass Academy of Math and Science 85 Prescott Street, Worcester, MA 01605. Please make all checks payable to Mass Academy/WPI. A form to reserve tickets/register teams is attached.
Here is the link to sign up for basket and food donations. We welcome all donations, but are in particular need for entrees (7 more) and salads (5 more) (green, potato and pasta) for the pot luck dinner.
We are still looking for more pledges for raffle baskets as well. The survey outlines the themes for the baskets. This is a good opportunity to show your support for the school. If you have pledged your support for gift baskets, you may either drop off items at the front desk with Ms. Reardon or send it in with your student at your earliest convenience. We do appreciate it if you could bring donations no later than Friday March 16 , to give our volunteers time to assemble the baskets.
It is going to be a great time to visit with other families and have some friendly competition around some trivia. Come have some fun with your family, enjoy a good meal, and support the school!!!
