David Ludt has been teaching at Mass Academy since 2005, and brings to his classes an extensive background in literature and a commitment to inspire young people. He has over 30 years of experience teaching English at both college and high school levels. He has held adjunct instructor positions at Worcester State University and Syracuse University, is a former English Department head for Marlborough Public Schools, and is the co-founder and artistic director of Calliope Productions, a local theatre company. In addition to teaching humanities, Ludt also oversees the drama and mock trial student electives.
He received the prestigious Arthur Chase Award in 2017 for outstanding contributions to the Mass Academy community.
