Julia Wildfong has been teaching French and Spanish for over 15 years at the elementary, high school, and college level. While teaching under a fellowship at Boston College, she received the Donald White Award for teaching excellence. She has an M.A. in French Literature and certificates of study from three overseas universities as well as a B.A in Political Science. With an eye toward language fluency, she relies on authentic music, literature, and films within the context of an immersion setting. Outside the Academy classroom, her world language workshops help other teachers in New England integrate leading edge technology into their classrooms such as podcasting and filmmaking.
Her electives at the Academy include Francophone Cinema, Cardio-kickboxing, Yoga, Jogging, and Sewing.
