Campus & Facilities
The Mass Academy is located at 85 Prescott Street in a tastefully renovated, turn of the century brick mill-building that is shared with several physicians' offices, the WPI Extension School, and biotech research firms. Across the street are the biotech/life sciences offices and labs of the Gateway Park initiative, and three blocks away is the main campus of WPI. Juniors spend the majority of their time at the Academy building; seniors spend theirs on the WPI campus.
Up-to-date and ample technology characterizes all facilities. The Academy's state-of-the art equipment is directly linked to the computer system and services of WPI, including the Gordon Library. When necessary, the Academy uses WPI laboratories and shops for science and engineering classes and projects for the juniors. Seniors have access to WPI services and equipment just as any WPI student. WPI, as a nationally ranked engineering college, has exceptional resources.
Directions
From the East
Take Exit 18 (I-290), turn right at end of ramp, then an immediate right before next traffic light. Take first right, Prescott Street.
The 85 Prescott Street Building is on the left after passing the WPI/Gateway building which is on your right. The entrance to the main parking lot is on your left. (There is overflow parking on your right.) Enter the building under the green canopy and proceed down the hall to a set of double glass doors on the right. Exit these doors, enter a courtyard, and look for the school’s entrance on your left.
From the West
Take Exit 17 (Exit I-290), turn left at end of ramp, bear right at bottom of hill. At first light take left turn, move immediately to right and take first right, Prescott Street.

Parking
All students may park at the 85 Prescott Street lot on the east side of the street. Parking is free. Seniors may purchase a parking permit for on-campus parking at WPI.
Athletic Facilities
Academy students may use the athletic facilities of WPI in accordance with policies established by the athletic department. Details can be found at the WPI Athletic Department Web site. From time to time the Academy uses the field at Institute Park for its Physical Education class.
Library
The Gordon Library is an excellent research and study facility. Details about its use, collections, and hours of operation can be found at the Gordon Library Web site.
