James Barys
Jim Barys has been teaching for thirty-nine years, the past nine at the Massachusetts Academy of Mathematics and Science at WPI. He has presented at NCTM National, T3 International, as well as many other state and local conferences and regularly conducts professional development for New England mathematics teachers in the use of Geometer's SketchpadTM, TI graphing calculator technology, and the appropriate use of computer algebra systems (Mathematica) in the mathematics classroom. His major career interests are mathematical modeling and the appropriate use of technology in the mathematics curriculum.
