Jacklyn Bonneau has taught the physical sciences for 37 years, and has been at Mass Academy for the past 20. Her main educational philosophy is that “science is a verb” and that students learn by doing. She scores MTEL exams, and is a certified T3 national instructor in science and a Vernier Software consultant.
Bonneau frequently presents workshops, seminars, and classes on the effective use of technology in science at regional, state, and international conferences; most recently, she’s hosted workshops in forensic science, and has published a lab manual, Forensics: Connecting Science Investigations with TI Data Collection Activities. She also coordinates professional development at Mass Academy and offers professional development to teachers through activities including round tables, TI user groups, Saturdays of Math and Science, onsite workshops, Next Generation Science Standards implementation, and curriculum development.
