May
- 10 Academy students won awards at the 2007 Massachusetts State Science Fair held at MIT:
Honorable Mention: Anand Desai; Third: Elizabeth Alexander, Victor Bois, Wayne Liu; Second: Karl Barnard and Aaron Jamack (team), Ethan Gurwitz, Andrei Ilyashenko, Natasha Shylo; First: Anirvan Mukherjee.
April
- The FIRST Robotics team, Team 190, won the National Championship in Atlanta, GA. It also won the championship at the Silicon Valley, CA Regional and the Chairman's Award at the BAE Systems Granite State Regional.
March
- Seniors Luke Perkins, Emily Ross and Nathan Williams took 2nd place at the WPI High School Programming Competition, March 5, 2007.
- The drama club performed, Mmmbeth, a one-act comedy, in the preliminary round of the Massachusetts Drama Guild Festival at North Attleboro, MA. Mala Krishnamoorthy ('07) won a Best Student Director award and Chris Petrie ('07) and Janine Pizzimenti ('08) won "All-Star Cast" awards.
December
- Seniors Aditya Kasi, Luke Perkins, Emily Ross and Nathan Williams took 1st place at the Fitchburg State High School Programming Competition, December 8, 2006.
October
- Ilda Bajraktari, Mala Krisnamoorthy and Raisa Trubko earned Semi-finalist standing in the 2007-08 Siemens Foundation Competition. They were among 14 Semi-finalists throughout the Commonwealth.
September
- Laura Hou and Mala Krisnamoorthy earned Semi-finalist recognition, and Debora Afezolli, Laura Arvidson, Sarah Bricault, Shilpa Nadimpalli, Andrew Nearing, Daniel Praetorius and Emily Ross won Commended Student status in the 2007 National Merit Scholarship Program.
